Hi Guys,
To configure virtual memory in Windows 10, follow these steps:
- Type "Control Panel" in the search bar and click on the Control Panel icon.
- In the Control Panel, click on "System and Security" and then click on "System".
- In the left panel, click on "Advanced system settings".
- In the System Properties window, click on the "Advanced" tab and then click on the "Settings" button under the Performance section.
- In the Performance Options window, click on the "Advanced" tab and then click on the "Change" button under the Virtual memory section.
- In the Virtual Memory window, you will see the current configuration of virtual memory. You can choose to customize the size of the paging file by selecting the "Custom size" radio button and entering the initial and maximum size that you want.
- Once you have entered the new sizes, click on the "Set" button and then click on the "OK" button to save the changes.
Keep in mind that the size of the paging file should be at least 1.5 times the amount of physical memory (RAM) in your computer. It is generally recommended to keep the paging file on the system drive (usually C:) but you can also choose to store it on a different drive if you have multiple drives.
